Title of Book:  Earth’s End (Air Awakens Series Book 3)

Author: Elise Kova

Main Character(s): Vhalla Yarl and Prince Aldrik

First Published: October 2016

Pages: 352

First Sentence: “Vhalla was falling. The wind roared past her ears as she dove headfirst into the greatest ravine in the world.”

Last Sentence: “And by the time the crown prince learned of the Windwalker’s whirlwind departure, Vhalla Yarl was too far to hear his screams of anguish.””

Fate can be either a friend or foe ……sometimes both.

Story Line Overview:

Vhalla Yarl is both strong and courageous. She pushes forward and fights fate at every turn. The emperor would use her as a tool to win his war and become all powerful. But power comes with a price.

Prince Aldrik must find a way to protect the one he loves while upholding his title as Crown Prince. Although outwardly hateful, both Aldrik and his brother, Baldair, work together to protect the Windwalker against the Knights of Jadar. The Knights would use Vhalla as their tool against the evil emperor.

Vhalla, both cunning and intuitive, figures out the emperor’s plan and takes matters into her own hands. She faces a tough choice with only one answer. But can she give up the one thing she holds most dear. Can Aldrik?

My review:

Absolutely thrilling! Vhalla holds nothing back in this adventure packed novel. She embraces the woman, the Windwalker, she has become and learns to stand bravely on her own two feet. Vhalla pushes the limits and fights for what she loves.

Overall, I would give this novel 5 out of 5 stars. I can’t wait to find out if Vhalla will make Aldrik see the error of his ways or if she will be the one to bring peace to the land.

I would recommend this story to anyone who loves A Court of Thorns and Roses, The Lux Series, and The Sanctorian Series.
