Wow! I can’t believe this month is already over. So much has happened over the past 31 days both at home and at work. Let me take a minute to reflect and see how well I have done.

January is a time of new beginnings. It is a time when to let go of the past and move forward in life. I was listening to a motivational speech the other day as I was driving to work, and the speaker said something that has stuck with me.
“You should strive for progress, not perfection.”
When I thought about it, he was right. If I were perfect, then there would be nothing left for me to learn. There is always something more for us to learn. No one is perfect, even if they claim they are.

Looking Ahead At February
Garden season is right around the corner. It’s time to pull out the gardening tools and take stock of your inventory of seeds.
My main goal for February is to start the morning at 4AM. This will give me 2 hours of ME-time. That is 2 hours to reflect, meditate, exercise, Bible study, and blog before the rest of my family wakes up.
