Story Line Overview: Katy is a complete bookworm. She loves to read and to blog about anything and everything books. After the death of her father, Katy and her mom moved to West Virginia to start life anew. Little did she know that her life was about to change forever.
Next door to Katy is a pair of siblings that are unlike any human—-mostly because they aren’t human. They are aliens that live on earth called the Lux—beings made of light and energy. Katy is thrown into their world when the Lux’s mortal enemy attacks.
My review: Romantic stirrings right from the start! I love how Katy and Daemon interact with each other. It is almost sickeningly cute at times. Armentrout created a very believable world where aliens and humans get along—to a point. Katy is both vulnerable and strong at the same time. Her character is very relatable.
I would recommend this story to anyone who loves Mortal Instruments, Hunger Games, and Air Awakens.
