Too much rain…..

Two weeks of rain is not good for the garden. I started out with 10 tomato plants but after a constant stream of heavy rain I am left with 3. I also lost some of my basil and 1 squash plant.

I love the summer months because of the little joys I find in the garden. This year I found a flower I had forgotten I planted.

I do not remember what kind of Lily it is but I feel blessed to have seen the beauty of its first bloom. The rest of the garden is doing well. The strawberries have played out just as the blueberries have started to come in.

A garden doesn’t have to be perfect. There will always be something to do. As long as I continue to enjoy it then I feel blessed.

Happy gardening my friends.
