For this week’s challenge I asked my kids “What makes you smile?”
Cody (On The Left):
“Football, The Ocean, Working on RCs with Dad, and Drawing”
Bradley (On the Right):
“Going on a walk-about with Mom, Taking pictures, and Playing with Chickens”
After hearing their responses, I found myself smiling. Not once did they mention video games, tv, or playing on the computer. Their responses were active and different from a lot of kids in the younger generation. Kids don’t come with a manual. Each child is unique in their own ways.
We raise our kids, but they raise us as parents.
I realized I am doing something right as a parent as I was typing this post.
